Questions about the Ski Safari?
What is a ski safari?
During a Ski Safari, you explore the most beautiful runs, viewpoints, and highlights of the ski resort together with a guide.
Who is the ski safari suitable for?
The Ski Safari is aimed at experienced skiers who want to discover and experience the ski resort.
Do I need a certain skill level?
Yes. You should be able to ski safely on red slopes. Depending on the run, there may also be black slopes or more demanding passages.
Is the ski safari a ski course?
No. The focus is on exploring the ski resort and the surrounding area together.
How long does a ski safari last?
The Ski Safari lasts 1 to 2 hours.
Where does the ski safari start?
In the Hintertux Glacier ski area, we meet at the 2nd station H3 Ski School Office Tuxerfernerhaus.
In Vorderlanersbach at the Rastkogel, we meet at the R1 mountain station.
Which ski areas are visited?
This is decided by the group together with the guide. Due to the time constraints, you stay in the ski area where you start.
Do I need a ski pass?
Yes. A valid ski pass for the respective ski area is required for participation.
Does the ski safari take place in all weather conditions?
Generally, yes. If it cannot be carried out for important reasons, we will postpone it to another day.
Can I also book the ski safari privately?
Yes. We are also happy to organize individual Ski Safaris for individuals, families, or groups.
How many people participate in a ski safari?
In principle, the number of participants is limited. If you book a private Ski Safari, only you and your group will be out with the guide.
Can I also participate as a snowboarder?
Yes, snowboarders are also very welcome if they have the appropriate riding skills.
What should I bring to the ski safari?
Skis/snowboard would be a good start. Everything else is a bonus.
