All clear? Or do you have any questions?

Yes, absolutely. Snowshoeing is one of the easiest winter sports of all and is possible even without any prior experience. You will feel confident on snowshoes after just a few minutes. Our private guides tailor the pace, route, and difficulty individually to your fitness level, age, and wishes. This ensures nothing stands in the way of a relaxed nature experience.

Our private snowshoe tours are suitable for almost everyone, whether families with children, couples, groups of friends, individuals or corporate events. Athletic guests looking for a more demanding tour will also get their money’s worth. Since every tour is planned individually, we can offer both leisurely scenic hikes and sporty mountain tours.

No. Experience is not necessary. Before starting, your guide will explain the equipment, the correct walking technique, and important safety rules. After a short time, you will be moving confidently through the snow and can enjoy the wintry mountain world to the fullest.

Depending on snow conditions, weather, and your wishes, our tours lead through the most beautiful winter landscapes of the Tuxertal. From snow-covered forests and quiet alpine meadows to impressive viewpoints in the Tuxertal, every tour is individually selected and adapted to the current conditions.

The duration depends entirely on your preferences and your booking. Whether it’s a leisurely 2-hour tour, a half-day or longer full-day tour, we take plenty of time so you can enjoy nature without being under time pressure.

For a snowshoe tour, we recommend warm winter clothing in layers, waterproof winter or mountain boots, gloves, a hat, as well as sunglasses and sun protection. Safety equipment is mandatory per participant; you are welcome to book this with us on-site, subject to availability.

No, snowshoes and safety equipment are not included in the price. However, they can be booked at selected sports shops.

Yes. Snowshoeing is a great experience for the whole family. Our guides choose child-friendly routes with plenty of breaks and exciting discoveries along the way. This allows children to discover the snow-covered mountain world playfully and experience winter in a completely different way than on the ski slopes.

That is up to you. Since every tour is planned individually, it can be designed to be very relaxed or more athletic. Your guide will follow your fitness level and ensure that the tour remains pleasant and safe for all participants.

The tour generally takes place in all weather conditions. Should safety not be guaranteed due to high avalanche risk or other safety-relevant events, the lesson will be moved to another day or another ski area.

Away from the ski slopes, you will experience the winter landscape in its most original form. No crowds, no hustle and bustle, instead snow-covered forests, untouched snowfields, impressive mountain panoramas, and absolute tranquility.

The exact tour area is selected to match the snow conditions, weather, avalanche situation, skill, and fitness level. Possible starting points are located in the Tuxertal and the surrounding touring areas. The meeting point and the planned route will be personally coordinated with you after booking or at the latest one day before the course starts.
